7-Day Reset Cleanse



Our Cleanse

Our 7-Day Reset Cleanse is different from a tradition juice cleanse in that we focus on slowing the digestion process rather than stopping it completely. So no, it’s definitely not a fasting cleanse. What’s the big difference? Fiber. Since the fiber stays intact, it not only keeps you satisfied but it also aids in proper digestion by carrying the waste and toxins out of the body. Drinking our ready-to-blend superfood smoothies still allows your organs and digestive system to rest because our raw, organic plant-based ingredients are easily digestible.

Our Cleanse consists of 14 smoothies --- one for breakfast and one for lunch, followed by a healthy balanced dinner of your choice. By drinking our superfood smoothies for the first two meals of the day, you’re flooding your system with powerful nutrients, live enzymes, antioxidants and the necessary fiber and protein needed to reset and restore your body. 

Our CLEANSE Includes:

What you'll need: 
A blender + blending liquid (10-12 oz per smoothie pouch)

Blending Recommendations: 
Plant-based liquids ONLY for the Cleanse. You'll need 10-12 oz liquid per pouch for blending. You can use 4 oz filtered water + 6-8 oz
liquid of choice or you can simply use your plant-based liquid of choice for the full amount. Filtered water is certainly an option but can make the smoothies slightly bland. Below are our recommendations for the blends currently in our 7-Day Cleanse.

Glow
- nut milk, coconut water or any other plant-based milk
Strength
- nut milk or any other plant-based milk

Order To Follow: 
The great news is that there's really no order in which to drink our smoothies during your 7-Day Cleanse. You'll have (4) blends to choose from and you can interchange them however you wish. One consideration: STRENGTH has higher levels of plant-based protein and healthy fats so you may want to drink this blend for lunch on a day when you're feeling a little extra hungry. The Prep

At least two days prior to beginning your cleanse, we recommend beginning the elimination process by cutting out caffeine, alcohol, sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, red meat and processed foods as this will help to reduce headaches and cravings. It’s also important to ease yourself out of the cleansing process the same way you started, with good wholesome nutritious foods and lots of H2O. 

The Aids

Drink Up

Plan to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. We suggest starting each morning with a warm lemon water to kickstart the system. This will help cleanse the liver, aid in toxin removal and help to flush fat from the body. Drink it on an empty stomach thirty minutes prior to consuming your breakfast smoothie. {Filtered water + fresh lemon juice + cayenne} You may also drink as many caffeine-free herbal teas as you’d like throughout the 7-day process.

Exercise

If this is your first cleanse we suggest avoiding heavy cardio and focus on light exercise such as walking, non-heated yoga or light circuit training. If you’re a cleansing guru then you should be able to carry on with your normal routine.

Detox Bath

A detox bath is one of the easiest healing therapies we can do to assist our body's natural detoxification system. A good detox soak will help draw out unwanted toxins during your cleanse while also leaving your skin healthy, vibrant and rejuvenated. 

Dry Brush

Dry brushing the body daily helps to eliminate toxins by stimulating the lymphatic system and increasing circulation that invites oxygen to your skin and muscles. The massaging of your connective tissue will keep your skin looking tight and toned and will remove dead skin cells. Always remember to brush towards the heart with a good quality, natural bristle body brush.

Massage/Sauna/Steam Room

If you can squeeze in any of the above during your cleanse it will benefit the detoxification process greatly. Also consider a massage or 15-30 minutes in a sauna or steam room, all top notch aids in helping to cleanse the body. 

Sleep

Getting plenty of rest will aid your body’s repairing process. Aim for at least 7-8 hours a night.

Take a Probiotic 

A daily probiotic will be highly beneficial during your cleanse to replenish and rebuild the good flora in your intestines. Consider a raw probiotic supplement such as Garden of Life.

Caffeine, alcohol, dairy, soy, refined sugar, gluten, processed foods and meats

 






Snack & Dinner Considerations

Organic fruits and vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, hummus, raw coconut, soups, natural nut butters and nut milks or additional green smoothies. For dinner, think full-bodied salads & Buddha bowls to include avocados, nuts, seeds, etc and stick to a clean olive oil + vinegar dressing (ideally cider vinegar with the mother). Gluten-free grains and seeds are a great option like quinoa, brown rice, wild rice, buckwheat, millet or amaranth. 

Remember, portions should be light and add a pinch of high quality sea salt whenever possible.
